You don’t make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas.

The Network Connects' mission is to create awareness of the existence of black-owned businesses and black professionals representing businesses in our communities. Primarily, we link black-owned businesses and professionals to people who want to support and uplift individual and corporate minority establishments, everywhere. The purpose of this website is to serve as a central point for connecting customers to black-owned businesses especially in the Horry and Georgetown counties and along the coastal regions of South Carolina. These geographic areas are major tourism destinations for millions of visitors, annually. However, our boundaries are not limited to these locations as our network has grown to thousands of members from across the United States and some island regions.
The Network Connects is also a conduit for networking and engagement between black business owners, educators, college students, and other professionals who seek support in career, business, education, politics, finances, religion, community mentoring, and other professional areas. This resource is for anyone who desires to make positive, unifying connections in our communities. Our efforts help us to identify African-American newcomers, professionals, and businesses in our areas and to promote upcoming events, programs, and activities targeting our population. On this website, we celebrate our positive impact on local, regional, state, national, and international economies and promote concepts and ideas for black business ownership that move us towards #nextlevelthinking.

The Network Connects is a product of The Melanated Business Alliance, LLC, established in the state of South Carolina in 2020.
